KOKI / Fox23 Tulsa has an opening for a dynamic, deadline-driven journalist who wants to make a difference. FOX23 is an exciting place to work. We are thriving in an active market with its share of weather and breaking news. We are looking for a journalist who is passionate about delivering viewer-driven newscasts. You will be part of a collaborative newsroom where we mentor, train, and coach you. We also have monthly in-house workshops where we push ourselves to learn and work smarter. We need that because our newsroom is a fast-paced environment where accuracy is a must and innovative people thrive. You will be responsible for pitching and producing enterprising content that engages our news viewers across all our platforms.
What you will do :
- Write, shoot, edit and present compelling content both on-air and online.
- Post content and engage with audiences on social media platforms.
- Demonstrate solid news judgment and storytelling abilities, with a passion for delivering original, imaginative content every day.
- Excel at breaking news and enterprise significant, local stories.
- Some anchoring may be involved.
- Other duties may be assigned.
