Responsibilities:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist at Imaginative Beginnings, your responsibilities will include:
- Screening and evaluating students with language difficulties or delayed development.
- Providing speech and language services in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Care (POC).
- Participating as part of the multi-disciplinary team in reviewing qualifications of patients with speech and language needs or delayed development, collaborating with our physical and occupational therapists.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Hold a degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university or college program.
- Preferred: Have been granted a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- Licensed by the State of Ohio or be eligible for Ohio licensure.
- Preferred: Possess at least two years of experience working with children with special needs, developmental delay, or disability.
