Imagine Community Arts Center offers a comprehensive Arts Enrichment Program for TK-12th grade students. We are seeking Creative Coaches to facilitate explorative experiences to TK-12th grade students. The Creative Coach is responsible for providing high quality instruction to participating students in the Imagine Art Enrichment Program, supporting students artistic exploration and nurturing their personal growth.
Duties:
- Facilitate an Imagine Art Enrichment Program per school district's contract agreement
- Conduct art sessions that engage TK-12th grade students in small groups.
- Guide students in exploring various art forms using high-quality materials.
- Implement activities that foster self-expression, self-esteem, and reinforce art concepts.
- Modify existing materials to accommodate all students.
- Address the diverse needs and abilities of students to facilitate their artistic development.
- Ensure personalized attention and support for each student within the specified 1:10 coach-student ratio.
- Work closely with the Imagine Arts Enrichment Program Director and Coordinator.
- Collaborate with other Creative Coaches and staff members to ensure program coherence and effectiveness.
- Participate in team meetings, workshops, and professional development sessions.
- Align teaching methods and activities with established goals and standards to ensure program coherence and effectiveness.
- Maintain quality representation of the company's brand.
- Maintain an environment of care based around the core values of Imagine Art Center (Respect, Communication, Compassion, Creativity, Equity, Encouragement).
- Assist with marketing campaigns
- Assist with field trips at Imagine Art Center
Requirements:
- Resume
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two references
- Fingerprint clearance from Department of Justice
- Must have own vehicle to travel from studio to school sites
- Must have valid drivers license and insurance
- Must participate in mandatory training
- 2 years experience supervising youth in any capacity preferred.
- Required to lift and carry up to a minimum of 25 lbs., in a correct manner consistent with the appropriate training provided by Imagine Art Center
- Understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
- Required to supervise a group of children and youth
- Ability to decipher and execute lesson plan objectives effectively
- Capable of working effectively under pressure
- Skilled in adapting to a flexible work environment
- Dependable and self-motivated with a proactive approach
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team
The hiring of Creative Coaches occurs on a contingent basis, with terms varying based on each school contract.

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
