Siemens Software. Transform the Everyday
The salary range for this position is $126,100 to $227,000 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training. In addition, this position is eligible for time off in accordance with Company policies, including paid sick leave, paid parental leave, PTO (for non-exempt employees) or non-accrued flexible vacation (for exempt employees).

What part will you play?
In your role as “Senior Software Engineer (f/m/d) Cloud & Industrial AI” you will:
- Ensure a consistent and scalable architecture, applying and developing modern software guidance, governance, frameworks, and technologies.
- Design and implement cloud services and components that will help us realize new Industrial AI scenarios, always in close interaction with customers and partner teams.
- Contribute to best practices and generate software guidance and governance, to enable our internal and external partners to develop world class solutions based on the Siemens portfolio.
- Act as a technical expert in your domain with a high responsibility within the development environment.
- You have a bachelor in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- You have a bachelor´s or master´s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- You have a track record of 5 years in developing scalable cloud solutions / software services, with technical domain expertise working as a cloud native developer, e.g., with Azure or AWS
- You have experience with container-based development and deployment.
- You are proficient in C# / .Net and/or Java, good knowledge of Python (and/or willingness to quickly become proficient in it).
