What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric Dietitian (Hybrid) position at Imagine Pediatrics?
The primary location for this role is Tampa, FL, the expected schedule requirements are Monday Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. However, accommodating families after hours at 6:00 pm may be required. This role highly prefers candidates to be bilingual in Spanish.
As a Pediatric Dietitian with Imagine Pediatrics, you will assess the nutritional needs of patients, develop and implement nutritional care plans, and communicate information to those in need in a manner developmentally appropriate for the ages of the patients served.
What You’ll Do
In this role you will:
- Provide age-appropriate education to support the nutritional plan of care and assess the learning needs and readiness to learn for all patients and families
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care team to integrate and communicate nutrition principles that enhance patient outcomes
- Document nutrition care effectively within medical records and utilize techniques to facilitate handoffs to care providers
- Contribute to department development and visibility by actively participating in the review and revision of nutrition-related resources, workflows, and policies and procedures
- Schedule is anticipated to be Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. However, accommodating families after hours at 6:00 pm may be required.

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a pediatric dietitian
- Bachelor’s degree
- Certified Registered Dietitian (RD) from the Commission on Dietetic Registry
- Licensed Dietician (LD) from the Florida Department of Licensing with ability to obtain other states as needed
- Experience working with a pediatric population strongly preferred, virtual care experience a plus
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
