Hiring for 2025-2026 School Year
The Imagine International Academy of North Texas, an open enrollment charter school, offers the International Baccalaureate Educational Framework for students in grades Kindergarten -12. Academic rigor, a focus on critical thinking with a purpose, leadership training, and exposure to a variety of world viewpoints provide our students with the tools needed to become leaders in a global society.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide quality instruction in Upper School math classes in International Baccalaureate Programme classrooms. Involvement in service learning activities is expected.
High school teachers work on a block schedule, teaching 6 periods and two for planning.
Work hours for high school, grades 9-12, are 7:45 - 4:15, Monday - Friday. Wednesday is an early release day for students with teachers having the afternoon for planning, teamwork and collaboration.
Qualification and Skills
Bachelor's degree in math or related field required, Master's preferred. Teaching certification in secondary math preferred. Prior experience with IB, project based learning, and differentiated instruction preferred as well as experience with gifted & talented students. International experience is an advantage.

Block schedule with two planning periods schedule throughout the weekly blocks. Wednesday is an early release day for students, which provides teachers time for planning, collaboration, and alignment meetings.
