Imagine Staffing is recruiting for a Customer Service Specialist on behalf of our client, a North American leader in raw materials production. Hours are Monday – Friday, 8 : 00am – 5 : 00pm with some afterhours communication. No travel is required for this role.

Our client is seeking a Logistics and Contract Administration Customer Service Specialist for a busy metal trading office! The ideal candidate has excellent customer service and communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and is extremely organized. They will also have excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task, handling the customer service and logistic details for many customers or contracts at once.
Role & Responsibility :
- Handle all customer service responsibilities on assigned contracts and customers.
- Handle phone and email orders, inquiries, and questions.
- Online file and customer management.
- Code invoices, freight, warehouses etc.
- Prepare and handle documents (letters of credit, bills of lading, invoices etc.).
- Liaise with warehouses to get material packaged, shipped, and blended according to customer specifications.
- Work with trucking companies to get freight rates and book shipments.
- Problem solve and come up with solutions if any concerns come up.
- Grasp product knowledge to be able to make independent decisions based on customer requirements.
- Ability to understand A / R and the importance of keeping our customer current.
- Ability to understand our billing and invoicing system.
- Help to manage inventory and manager positions.
- Assist in covering team member responsibilities when they are out of office.
