Role & Responsibility:
Tasks That Will Lead To Your Success
- Patient registration for surgery
- Collection of monies
- Filing charts, making up charts since the center is on paper charting
- Scanning documents to various departments and answering the phone when necessary
- Must be a professional, team player, positive attitude, organized with time management, and reliable.
- Must provide their own scrubs, either a dark navy or black with no logo is acceptable.
Skills & Experience
Qualifications That Will Help You Thrive
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must have experience in a medical front desk, specifically within a hospital or ambulatory care/outpatient setting.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with scanning and organizing patient documents efficiently into digital records.
- Ability to create and maintain patient charts accurately and in compliance with office protocols.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle confidential patient information with discretion and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Experience managing phone systems, scheduling appointments, etc.
