Nature & Scope : Positional Overview
We are seeking a Contract Scheduler for a direct hire opportunity. This role is responsible for contract scheduling, issuing work orders, maintaining inventory levels, and monitoring contract progress. The position ensures raw material requirements are met, sales orders are promised effectively, MRP exceptions are reviewed and corrected, and sales expedites are handled efficiently.

Tasks That Will Lead To Your Success
- Collaborate with Production Supervisors to schedule and plan a consistent flow of goods to the assembly floor, maximizing throughput and delivery performance.
- Review daily shortage reports to ensure on-time supply for production planning and meet customer delivery, quality, and price requirements.
- Address and correct existing work order exceptions, expediting or de-expediting as necessary to align production with customer requirements.
- Select parts for work order creation based on material availability, labor, and plant capacity.
- Monitor inventory and complete all necessary transactions to maintain accurate and balanced inventory levels.
- Communicate with Sales, Engineering, and Purchasing regarding inventory or technical issues.
- Support department management in communicating targets and results.
- Fill in for the Small Coolers Bay Supervisor during absences and direct daily activities as needed.
- Assist with activities related to physical inventory.
- Perform other duties as required by the Supervisor.
