- Design and Development : Create and refine mechanical systems and components using Revit and CAD software to fulfill technical and functional requirements.
- Analysis and Testing : Conduct simulations, stress tests, and quality checks to ensure products comply with safety and performance standards.
- Prototyping : Develop and test prototypes, making adjustments based on analysis and feedback to enhance designs.
- Project Management : Plan, execute, and oversee engineering projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are achieved.
- Collaboration : Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing teams, to integrate mechanical systems.
- Documentation : Create detailed engineering drawings, technical reports, and manuals. Maintain accurate records of project progress.
- Compliance : Ensure all designs meet the relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Problem-Solving : Troubleshoot issues in existing mechanical systems and propose solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness performance.
- This role will be required 80% in-office and 20% client meetings.
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Proficiency in Revit and CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, thermodynamics, materials science, and structural analysis.
- Experience with FEA and CFD tools for design optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience in healthcare is preferred.
