The Imagine team is growing our client base, and we are inviting a detail-oriented Sr. Accountant to come join our team! The Sr. Accountant will play a critical part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining the integrity of accounting processes. By providing financial analysis, streamlining accounting procedures, and supporting audit preparation, this individual will help drive operational efficiency across the company.

Essential Duties
- Prepare daily and monthly G/L entries, and execute assigned components of the monthly closing process
- Ensure that G/L accounts are reconciled and substantiated monthly. Directly responsible for researching and resolving issues working in collaboration with the appropriated accounting and operations staff as required
- Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
- Assist with developing and evolving accounting processes, policies, and procedures
- Audit Preparation and support
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Continuing education by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Ad-hoc projects as necessary
- Other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience Needed
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 6 years accounting experience, knowledgeable in US GAAP
Qualifications You Must Have
- Knowledge of all aspects of accounting: G/L, Reconciliations, Balance Sheet, P&L
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Research and data deduction skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Problem solving skills
- Strong technical aptitude for learning new software and systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis in Excel is a critical requirement
- Experience with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
- Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
