DeveloperWeek 2025 is the largest developer conference & event series including the DeveloperWeek 2025 Conference & Expo, 1,000 attendee hackathon, 1000 attendee tech hiring expo, and a series of workshops, technical talks, and keynotes.

Reporting Relationships

ImagineX Productions is partnering with DevNetwork to hire and lead the production team. You will be contracted by DevNetwork and together we will be working together to execute the vision of API World.

Position Description

Registration Team

Badge Scanning Team

Guest Experience Team

Availability and Commitment

We will have a full team training on the first day. From there we have the following shifts available -

Day 1 - Tuesday, February 11, 2025

6 : 00am - 4 : 30pm

Day 2 - Wednesday,

February 12, 2025

6 : 30am - 6 : 30pm

Day 3 - Thursday,

February 13, 2025

6 : 30am - 6 : 30pm

General Duties

Assist in the set-up and breakdown of conference supplies
Use scanning systems and equipment to scan badges
Use a reservation system and equipment to verify guest reservations and hand correct badges for entrance into the venue.
Assist in troubleshooting guest issues.
Assist in facilitating overall guest experience.
Manage the speaker and stage experience
Attend on-site staff meetings and execute tasks under the direction of Managers and Leaders.

Personal Characteristics

Capability and comfort using smart electronic devices (tablet, smartphone) is a must.

Excellent communication skills and collaborative work ethic.

Capability and comfort being in large crowds of people.

Possess the capacity to handle stressful situations with diplomacy and tact.

Able to work efficiently in an organized and detailed fashion.

Ability to adhere to DevNetwork policies, protocols and procedures.

Understanding of your own personal limits and ability to articulate those limits to your supervisor.

Have a great sense of humor and maintain dedication to the DevNetwork mission.

Physical Requirements

Able to lift / carry 50lbs

Able to experience periods of extended standing.

Able to walk and climb considerable distances, including inclines / declines during the course of a work day.

Able to stoop, crouch and kneel while placing signage throughout the venue.

The ability to listen and speak clearly is required.

Compensation

22 - $25 per Hour, Paid as an Independent Contractor

Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Included

Parking to be reimbursed
