What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Security Engineer position at imalink?
For our client's extensive network, we are currently looking for a Network Security Engineer. As Network Security Engineer you are responsible for the segmentation and security of that production network. You are also responsible for the implementation of a security framework. Also the analysis of the network communication flows belongs to your tasks. Finally, you manage the firewalls and security products.
The experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below.
In addition to possessing a Master's degree, as a Network Security Engineer you will possess the following skills and knowledge :
- Very good knowledge of switches and routers (Cisco)
- Excellent knowledge of subnetting and routing
- Extensive experience with TCP / IP
- Experience with Fortinet is a plus
