A hands-on and motivational people leader, the Sr Director of Supply Chain Operations is committed to data-driven decision-making, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and operational enhancement. Through strategic acumen and leadership, they drive sustainable growth and operational efficiency across the organization.
Essential Job Duties
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead a team of approximately 20 supply chain, quality and customer service professionals. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members, inspiring and motivating them to achieve their best.
- Supply Chain Management: Oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, demand forecasting, manufacturing, quality, and customer service. Ensure that products are sourced, produced, and delivered efficiently to meet customer demand.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with overall business objectives and contribute to Imbibe’s growth and profitability. This includes optimizing supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Communication and Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between the supply chain function and other departments, including Sales, Finance, and R&D. Facilitate effective communication to ensure that customer feedback, market trends, and demand forecasts are integrated into supply chain planning.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and co-manufacturers to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply of ingredients. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure the supply chain function not only meets operational objectives but also contributes to enhancing customer relationships through reliable service, product quality, and responsiveness to customer needs.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Oversee quality control measures throughout the supply chain to ensure that products meet quality standards and customer expectations.
- Inventory Optimization: Implement inventory control strategies to balance between meeting customer demand and minimizing carrying costs.
- Risk Management and Resilience: Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them. This includes supply chain disruptions, geopolitical risks, and demand or supply fluctuations.
- Data Analysis and Technology: Leverage data analytics and technology solutions to improve supply chain visibility, efficiency, and decision-making.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain through benchmarking, performance metrics, and regular reviews. Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and operational excellence.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
- At least 15 years of progressive experience in supply chain roles.
- Proven ability to drive operational excellence, manage supply chain complexities, and contribute to organizational growth and profitability.
- Strong track record of leadership, strategic planning, and execution within complex supply chain environments.
- Able to lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets and resources effectively, and inspire and mentor staff.
- Able to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives, anticipate market trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Must be able to articulate complex ideas, negotiate contracts, and build strong relationships to support business goals.
- Excellent communication skills for effectively collaborating with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.
- Proficient in supply chain management systems (e.g., ERP, SCM software), data analysis, and performance metrics.

Salary & Benefits
- Pay range: $160,000 - $220,000 performance-based bonus
