Job Description
The Program Manager maintains overall responsibility for the quality, on time and cost optimizing delivery of all millwork and graphics elements related to individual OEM programs undertaken by the Company. This position will work with and in some cases guide Project Managers, Field Project Managers, Estimators and other operators to ensure program deliverables are achieved to Company and, most importantly, customer specifications and expectations (timing, cost, quality, etc.). This role is also tasked with defining, implementing, and managing program work flows, schedules, quality checks, and various other elements. The Program Manager will also serve as the primary point of contact with program customers, ensuring the highest levels of client satisfaction are realized. In addition to their interactions with customers, this position is also expected to communicate effectively and regularly with internal stakeholders regarding the status of projects from a cost, production, and delivery standpoint. In sum, the Program Manager is wholly responsible for ensuring specific program business is delivered as promised, efficiently, while ensuring the highest profit margins for the Company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (include But Are Not Limited To)
Manages/directs OEM programs & related products by defining & communicating objectives and strategies consistent with customer and contractual requirements
Monitors project costs regularly and works with various functional areas in the Company to ensure budgetary targets are met or beaten; maintains ownership for the gross profitability of such programs at both a job and aggregated level
Plans, organizes, executes & monitors all aspects of OEM programs to achieve internal & external customer commitments for delivery, performance, & satisfaction
Acts as the primary OEM and/or Construction Management firm customer contact on program status, performance and delivery while anticipating customer needs; develops control systems and reports that accurately measure progress, identify problems, and promote efficiencies
Establishes and manages all communications to OEM and or Construction Management client at key points of process and creates solutions to address their questions/concerns/needs
Defines and manages internal systems for program implementation & maintenance
Establishes performance goals and monitors adherence to program schedule
Supports the Sales and Market activities of programs, as time allows
Prepares and presents revenue and gross profit margin projections for all responsible programs and standard products.
REQUIRED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES (include But Are Not Limited To)
Proficiency with computers and the MS Office Suite including Excel
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Some knowledge of millwork and graphic production techniques
World class customer service skills
Detailed, with strong time management and organizational skills
Critical thinking/problem solving skills
Capability to engage and guide others in defining workflows for multiple functional areas and ensuring deliverables from an array of internal operators/departments
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (include But Are Not Limited To)
The ability to stay seated for extended periods working at a computer
Will occasionally walk around to coordinate work or engage coworkers
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent relevant experience
4 years of demonstrated success managing large scale graphic or millwork programs from a cost, quality and customer relations perspective
Demonstrated successful experience working both autonomously and with others in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Program management experience with delivery to automotive OEMs
Bachelor’s Degree in business and/or Project Management certification

Some minor exposure to saw dust created in product fabrication
