What are the responsibilities and job description for the CSR/Dispatcher position at IMC Companies LLC?
Position Overview:
Dispatch
Plans the daily/weekly work schedule of drivers to maximize freight coverage in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Communicate with all IMC drivers, owner operators and fleet drivers regarding all phases of dispatch requirements. Assist drivers with tablet issues and ensure they are proficient in their operations.
Collect, review and process drivers TIR’s, POD’s & Bills of lading.
Essential Functions:
- Supervise Drivers
- Timely audit and completion orders in SW Operating System (SWS).
- Promptly review service requirement issues and determine best course of action and communicate same to Drivers and Customers noting same in notes field in SWS.
- Update orders in SWS for accessorial service and charges
- Track, manage and maintain IMC Chassis Fleet
- Maintain confidentiality regarding driver pay information, customer accounts and dispatch activities
Customer Service
Enter orders in SWS
Communicate customer delivery needs and appointment dates/times, quote rates of customer and relate service requirements to dispatchers
Prepare customer reports and tracking/tracing as required such as divisional pool, MDR, CNI, Daily Activity, and Dispatch Status
Propose and implement procedures to improve overall customer service

Knowledge Required:
- Must have intermodal experience
