Role Overview :
Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Ensures work complies with relevant codes and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Install wiring, outlets, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures according to blueprints and technical diagrams
- Set up electrical systems for new construction or remodels, including panels, switches, and grounding systems
- Inspect electrical systems, components, and wiring for hazards, defects, or compliance with codes
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning electrical equipment or systems
- Replace outdated or faulty electrical components to meet current standards or client requirements
- Upgrade systems to support new appliances, increased power loads, or energy-efficient technologies
- Adhere to all electrical codes, regulations, and safety protocols
- Ensure proper grounding and electrical safety measures are in place
- Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and installations
- Prepare reports and update blueprints or technical diagrams as necessary
