We are looking for a recent graduate to join IMC as a Graduate Floor Trader. IMC is a high frequency trading firm and we have a strong trading presence in the broker market on the trading floor. As a graduate floor trader, you’ll respond to quotes in the open outcry broker market at the CBOE in addition to actively building and enhancing the quality of our electronic trading strategies. We’re seeking someone who loves participating in markets and has superior analytical, mathematical, and computing skills. As a graduate floor trader your decisions have a direct impact on IMC’s trading strategies.
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Work in a team of broker and screen traders to optimize trading
- Interact with brokers throughout the day, making markets and providing liquidity
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers
- Perform trades analysis to improve trading
- Develop, maintain, and enhance trading models, algorithms, systems, and positional risk
- Research new market opportunities
Your Skills and Experience:
- Recent university graduate or current university student graduating between December 2024 and August 2025 with a degree in finance, economics, mathematics or related field of study
- Superior numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Genuine interest in financial markets, though no prior knowledge or experience required
- Ability to work successfully in a fast-moving and competitive environment
- Experience with programming in Python is and advantage

- Eagerness to continuously learn
- Must be available to start full-time employment in either February or August 2025
