What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Engineer position at IMCS Group?
Job Duties / Responsibilities:
- Would be responsible for procurement and designing specifications of machines, robots and other similar equipment used for Body PE.
- Managing and working with machine vendors to confirm correct quality and specifications of machines.
- Experience using AutoCAD, and Catia, C3, or another 3D design tool.
- 2-5 years of experience in Manufacturing or Automotive industry.
- Duties include Process Planning; Machine Specifications; Machine/Equipment Procurement; Installation/Trial Management; Project Management; Schedule Control; Budget Control/Cost Reduction; Manufacturing Support/Process Tracking.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and off shifts as typical work is conducted at nonproduction times.
- The position is home-based at PEMC office in Georgetown, KY. Willing to support Business Travel as required, including short-term or long-term dispatch if required.
Qualifications:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Proficient Computer Skills: MS Office, CAD packages (AutoCAD, Catia, C3)
- Manufacturing/processing experience.
Additional Desired Qualifications:
- Client Bodyshop Engineering Experience.
- New Model Introduction experience.
- Up to 5 years Automotive/Manufacturing Engineering Experience.
Salary : $35 - $38
