What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Records Processor position at IME+?
An Independent Medical Evaluation company is looking to fill a Full-Time position within our Medical Records Department in our Bloomfield office. In this role, you will be responsible for the handling of the following daily tasks.
· Emailing clients for medical records for upcoming exams
· Scanning and linking medical records into operating system
· Downloading medical summaries from portal and linking to the service
· Creating Addendum services and processing incoming medica records and films
Must display the following skillset:
- Strong computers skills are required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Comfortable with converting to PDF file.
- Scanning
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
- Knowledge of imaging studies is a PLUS and preferred
- Medical Record experiencing is preferred.
- Friendly, outgoing, upbeat personality and attention to detail is a must.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multi-task
- Salary is based on experience.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
· High school diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of one-year related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience in a medical office preferred.
