Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient appointments, scheduling, and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including coding and billing
- Utilize medical terminology and ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems to accurately document patient information
- Manage patient financial responsibilities, including insurance claims
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other medical staff
- Ensure all patient records are complete, accurate, and compliant with HIPAA regulations
- Provide administrative support
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Qualifications Preferred:
- Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment would be helpful but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is a significant asset
