The maintenance clerk will work under the guidance of the Engineering Maintenance Manager and will give assistance to the Maintenance Planner by primarily working in the CMMS System. Duties will include entering information into the system as related to work orders and other provided information. Key Tasks and ResponsibilitiesEffectively use the AX / SAP and CMMS system to enter asset data, receive work requests, generate, document and close work orders, generate, print and distribute PM work orders, enter spare part information along with other necessary data to help track plant maintenance activities and minimize equipment downtime.Efficiently managing time, meeting deadlines and completing all tasks assigned by the Maintenance Manager.Coordinating daily activities with maintenance supervisors, technicians, purchasing and warehouse personnel along with other departments of the organization.Complying with all corporate policies and adhering to the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) guidelines while performing daily duties.Skills and Attributes RequirementsShould have excellent written, computer and verbal communication skills.Ability to efficiently work in a team and coordinate work with other departments.Aptitude to take orders and execute the same efficiently. Education / Experience RequirementsHigh school degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from a certified college.Two to three years working with maintenance systems preferred. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and a high computer aptitude.
