Your Role
Project Overview & Deliverables: As a member of a cross-functional project team, the successful candidate will support the implementation of AVEVA System Platform by:
Working with sites to understand their data collection, reporting, dashboard, and scorecard needs
Developing solutions in the AVEVA Platform to meet these needs
Training site-based personnel on the usage of the developed solutions
The successful candidate will work with Imerys professionals in the Operations, Automation, IT/OT, and Continuous Improvement functions in order to effectively implement the above.
Project Learning Objectives: Following the internship, the successful candidate will be able to apply their skills and knowledge to solve practical operational needs encountered in mineral processing and other industrial applications.
They will: Gain an understanding of the mining / mineral processing industry, focusing on the operating context
Be proficient at engaging with site-based personnel to both understand the day-to-day operation of the business and what is required to effectively provide support
Be proficient at using an industry-standard data platform to build high-quality reports, dashboards, and scorecards using time-series data and manual inputs
Be proficient at working across sites and functions in order to get things done
