The Position
Business Process Improvement (SAP) Specialist
Job Summary
Role Primary Responsibilities:
- Identify SAP improvement opportunities via Value Stream Mapping and/or other input
- Coordinates action plans for solutions across the OPERA organization
- Support multifaceted improvement projects related to SAP implementation across the organization
- Provide support to traditional I3 activity (CI Program)
- Define and clarify internal customer needs across all SAP users
- Troubleshooting activities as needed to support sites
- Developing and documenting procedures and process to manage SAP capability
- Training local site teams on procedures and processes developed
- Streamlining reporting requirements across supply chain (P2P / MQM / B2R / O2C )
- Establishing SAP reports as needed per site/function
- Taking learnings forward to sites that have not gone through the process. Share learning from experiences to better the future implementations
- Adoption of Best Practices across implementation sites
- Willing and able to travel (North America) up to 25%
- CI mindset - always challenges the status quo and thinks of optimizing the process
- Engineering / Data Analytics / Process Focused
- Imerys business process knowledge, Imerys-specific organization and people awareness (at least for leader role)
- IT / Business Systems – SAP Knowledge
- CI (Lean / Six Sigma), VSM, and Problem Solving
- 1-3 years of experience in process improvement
- Degree Preferred (Engineering, IT, Finance or Business)
