Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

• Fieldwork Support:
• Assist in conducting geological data collection, field surveys and assessments.
• Support core drilling projects by collecting ore samples from designated sites for laboratory analysis.
• Document geological features and site conditions in field notebooks and digital formats.
• Data Collection and Analysis:
• Help compile and analyze geospatial data using geological mapping software (e.g., GIS).
• Support the preparation of geologic cross-sections and maps to visualize kaolin deposits, if needed.
• Participate in data entry and management for ongoing resource evaluation projects.
• Laboratory Assistance:
• Aid in the preparation and analysis of collected samples in the lab.
• Collaborate with senior geologists to perform mineralogical assessments and tests.
• Contribute to the documentation and interpretation of laboratory results.
• Research and Reporting:
• Contribute to the drafting of reports and presentations summarizing findings.
• Maintain accurate records of all research and data collection activities.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with geologists, engineers, and other team members to support project goals.
• Attend team meetings, providing updates on assigned tasks and collaborating on problem-solving initiatives.
