VoIP NETWORK ANALYST
CISCO UNIFIED COMMUNICATIONS
iMethods is seeking a Telecommunication (VoIP) Network Analyst to support the unified communications platform(s) for the enterprise organization. This is a position that requires an onsite presence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Installs cabling in accordance with hospital standards.
- Interviews end-user to assess cable and equipment needs.
- Schedules and performs moves, adds, and changes within specified time periods.
- Replaces, repairs patient and administrative telephones to meet hospital standards.
- Performs minor software changes.
- Assists Voice Network Engineer in daily operations and maintenance of systems.
- Supports video conferencing equipment and sessions.
- Completes and submits Weekly Status Reports outlining work completed, accomplishments, risks, and areas of concern, as outlined.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate
- Require three (3) years of telecommunications experience, to include call servers and VOIP systems, wire and cabling standards, and related systems operations.
- Require participation in on-call support and after hours project work.
- Require intermediate level PC proficiency.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prefer Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) with Voice and/or Collaboration.
- Prefer strong ability to identify, understand and communicate business needs for technical projects.
- Prefer ability to work within defined change control processes and procedures.
- Prefer experience in support of a customer-facing call center to include call recording.
- Prefer familiarity with UC technologies, specifically Cisco Webex, Cisco Jabber and Avaya and Cisco telephony integration and ESNA voicemail system
- Prefer five (5) years of experience in voice communications troubleshooting.
- Prefer thorough knowledge and expertise in managing large multi-site VOIP environment.
- Prefer solid understanding of PC/LAN topologies.
