What are the responsibilities and job description for the Communications Intern position at IMGAcademyCorporateCareers?
The Communications Intern will plan, coordinate, and execute corporate communications with a special focus on media relations, internal communications and sports information.
Position Responsibilities:
Prepares and distributes internal newsletters and other content highlighting media coverage or key initiatives
Researches, develops, and maintains media contact distribution lists
Assists Communications team with development of key messages, statements, media alerts, news releases, and website copy as needed
Assists with coordination of onsite media interviews
Provides communications support for company’s community service programs
Identifies and applies for awards that reflects IMG Academy’s excellence in sports, education, and technology
Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Coursework and/or strong interest in Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Business or related field or experience
Knowledge, experience and passion for sports
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated experience with digital/social content at a professional level
Ability to multi-task
Strong organizational skills
Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues
