Our Restaurant Servers are responsible for creating a positive guest dining experience through exceptional customer service.
Job Responsibilities:
• Display exceptional customer service skills and greet all guests and associates in a friendly manner• Take food and beverage orders and accurately enter them into the ordering system• Communicate any food allergy or special nutrition needs to kitchen staff• Ensures that dishes are prepared and presented correctly before serving to guest• Assist fellow team members as needed to ensure guest satisfaction • Follow proper cash handling procedures in compliance with company policies• Execute room service delivery as needed• Perform some cleaning duties to ensure dining room is clean and organized at all times• Maintain confidentiality of guest and proprietary information• Handle guest challenges in a friendly and courteous manner• Maintain effective communication and teamwork with fellow employees within the hotel• Use proper two-way radio etiquette at all times when communicating with other employees• Complete mandatory in person and e-learning trainings as assigned by management• Perform other duties as requested by management
Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• At least 1 year of experience in hotel or restaurant industry• Strong customer service skills and a passion for interacting with people• General knowledge of restaurant etiquette and flow service in a restaurant • Micros Symphony experience is preferred.• TIPS/ServSafe certification is required before working.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Familiarity with general cash handling procedures and POS systems• Ability to work all shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
Physical Demands and Work Environment
• Ability to lift, carry, move, push and pull equipment or boxes up to 40lbs• Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift• Frequent lifting and carrying trays of food and drinks• Ability to work all shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
