The Strength and Conditioning Coach, Summer will be responsible for development and implementation of physical conditioning training programs for athletes in all sports, all ages, and all levels.
Position Responsibilities
Delivery of strength and power training; speed, agility, movement sessions; and regeneration
Programming, sport liaison and observation of athletes, tracking and reporting
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in kinesiology, health, physical education, or related field
Previous experience as a performance specialist in strength and conditioning
High energy, charismatic training approach with the ability to interface with a variety of audiences
Experience motivating, inspiring and training middle and high school student athletes
Experience with both small and large group training and individual training
Proficiency in writing training programs for athletes of all ages in a variety of sports.
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with colleagues, sport coaches, and athletes
Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects and ability to work collaboratively
Excellent presentation skills and written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills
Pursuing or have a Master’s degree in kinesiology, health, physical education or related field
Bilingual
CSCS certification or equivalent
Experience playing, coaching or managing
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs.
Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time.
Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.
Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
