What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Inspector position at IMI Critical Engineering PBM LLC?
-Proficient with a range of inspection, measuring & test equipment (IM&TE), including calipers, micrometers, thread gages, height gages, ultrasonic thickness gage, ultrasonic hardness gage, ferrite gage, and profilometers
Processing documentation to ensure all purchase order requirements are satisfied, including reviewing material test reports and supplemental testing to ASME, ASTM, DIN, and PED standards as required.
Other responsibilities include:
-Perform Positive Material Identification (PMI) of incoming material and final components with Niton Analyzer and generate reports as necessary
-Help prepare certified documentation packets per industry standards and customer requirements
-Working knowledge of a (CMM) –FARO ARM and VERTEX Vision Measuring Centers are a plus..
-Work inter-departmentally to disposition and process returned merchandise (RMA) in an efficient and timely manner
-Effectively perform dimensional inspections and some Liquid Penetrant nondestructive tests (NDT) on incoming, in- process, and final components
Daylight hours primarily,
90 Day contract to hire.
Looking for an experienced quality inspector with about 2 years’ related experience. Willing to train the ideal candidate with less experience.
