What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Manager position at IML Security Supply?
Reporting directly to the site manager, you will take accountability for the management of day-to-day operations of the warehouse, as well as ongoing development of a small, diverse team. This is a hands-on position, with an emphasis on attention to detail.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Directing an experienced warehouse team in daily work flow and logistics processes
- Controlling and monitoring high value inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels, excellent service and that all deliveries are in line with productivity and scheduling requirements
- Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
- Coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
- Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and team members
- Plan work schedules, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
- Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees
- Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
- Act as the go-to resource for identifying and resolving issues, providing clear solutions to team members.

Essential requirements:
- Minimum 8 years warehouse/logistics experience preffered
- Proven leadership skills, with a proactive attitude
- A keen eye for detail and safety
- Experience with computerized inventory systems
