Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both low and high voltage systems, with a focus on maintaining and troubleshooting various equipment. This role requires proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and the ability to work effectively in the field while providing exceptional customer service. In this role you will dispatch on daily work orders to big box companies including but not limited to store lighting, kitchen appliances, receptacles, store signage, isle lighting, emergency outages and panel troubleshooting. These work orders will be at varying stores in Portland area like wall mart, ulta beauty, Outback, dollar general, Joann’s and many more. We give you a tablet and phone to write up and turn in all paper work per work order.
Duties
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of low and high voltage systems.
- Proficient in troubleshooting commercial appliances .
- Conduct field service operations, ensuring equipment is functioning optimally.
- Lighting panels power and control for outdoor and indoor lighting.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex problems and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain detailed records of service performed and equipment status for future reference.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on-site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in low voltage and high voltage systems maintenance.
- Able to work hands on projects and explain to non-trade individuals.
- Knowledge of general electrical installations utilized in commercial industries a plus.
- Strong field service experience with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to communicate on a daily basis in professional and prompt manor with all our partners.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Military experience is valued but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills to facilitate effective customer interactions.
