Immanuel Church is a multisite congregation committed to helping people find life in Christ. We are seeking a Ministry Communications Manager to join our Administration and Operations Team, bringing creativity, organization, and technical expertise to help us clearly communicate the mission and ministries of Immanuel across all platforms.
Reporting directly to the Executive Minister and secondarily to the Senior Pastor, the Ministry Communications Manager will lead the development and execution of all church communications—digital, print, email, social media, video storytelling, and branding. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong communication skills, proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Squarespace, Mailchimp, and a passion for using media to share the Gospel.
Primary Responsibilities:
Digital Storytelling & Social Media: Develop a comprehensive social media strategy, create engaging content, build a digital volunteer team, monitor performance, and innovate based on trends.
Website & Digital Engagement: Maintain and update the church website, optimize for engagement, ensure visual and brand consistency, and monitor analytics for continuous improvement.
Churchwide Communication & Email Strategy: Lead strategic planning for all church emails, design campaigns, manage audience databases, and report on engagement metrics.
Print Media Production: Produce weekly worship bulletins, funeral and wedding bulletins, and other special print materials that are clear, welcoming, and brand-aligned.
Visual Media for Worship & Campuses: Create high-quality worship and campus screen content that enhances communication and engagement.
Monthly Newsletter (Steeple): Oversee layout, content development, printing, and distribution of the monthly church newsletter, sharing stories of faith and impact.
Branding & Visual Identity: Ensure consistent application of Immanuel’s branding across all ministries, support ministry teams with resources, and proactively strengthen visual identity.
Additional Responsibilities:
Assist with welcome desk coverage and phone support as needed.
Carry out all other duties as assigned by the Executive Minister or Senior Pastor.
