What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Ministry Director position at Immanuel Church?
Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual who has committed their life to serving Jesus Christ and has a unique calling to minister to middle and high school students. The ideal candidate will create an engaging environment where students can pursue God and grow in their faith alongside their peers. This person will develop biblical lessons and small group curriculum to enhance student discipleship while effectively communicating with parents and aligning with the vision of Immanuel Church.
Duties
- Develop and lead a weekly Wednesday night program for middle and high school students.
- Recruit, train, and foster a team of volunteer adult leaders.
- Plan and coordinate events outside of Wednesday night programming that promote relationships and discipleship.
- Create educational lessons with practical applications of biblical concepts and stories.
- Commit to personal spiritual growth and ongoing education.
- Organize and lead fundraising efforts.
- Manage resources effectively to ensure program sustainability.
Requirements
- A strong, personal faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to accurately teaching the Bible.
- College education preferred.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Experience working with students.
- Excellent communication skills.

Pay: From $30,000.00 per year
