Job DescriptionThe primary purpose of this position is to prepare and serve meals to meet residents’ nutritional needs; to assist residents with meal set-up; and to properly sanitize after meal service.Position DutiesPossess a high degree of personal cleanliness and hygieneAssist in serving of meals and loading of food cartsAssist in preparation of various desserts, salads, peeling vegetables, etc.Assist in washing dishes, pots and pans, while following good cleaning proceduresAssist in dining area set-up and tray assemblyAssist residents with meal set-up, including buttering bread, cutting meat, etc.Perform cleaning duties in kitchen and dining rooms, on equipment, dishwashing area, etc.Deliver food and snack carts to various areas within the buildingAssist with food and supply receiving and storage, as assignedObtain food and supplies from storeroom, as neededAble and willing to work all positions with department, excluding cook and managementPerform other duties as assignedBenefits : Dental insurance, Employee assistance program, Employee discount, Health insurance, Health savings account, Life insurance, Paid time off, Referral program, Affordable Child CareRequirementsProfessional Licenses or Certifications Required by Law, Rule, or Regulation for Performing this PositionCompletion of Serve Safe™ program upon entry into this position.Education and ExperienceGraduation from high school or equivalent preferredAt least 6 months of experience in this field preferred
