Description:
The purpose of the Bookkeeper/Accounting Technician is to enter the financial information for Immediate Care and related companies into a general ledger using software specific to the accounting and financial industry. The Bookkeeper/Accounting
Technician is responsible for updating records, tracking income and expenses, and assisting the Controller with month end closing and balancing of companies.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable including but not limited to receiving bills, reviewing for accuracy, coding across locations, &
preparation of AP to be paid report
- Printing checks or processing ACH payments for approved payables
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online or other accounting programs
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Produce operating Statements, financial reports, and summaries for review
- Assist with payroll processing as needed
- Follow Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Assist with creation or modification of standard operating procedures for accounting
Proficiency in accounting practices and standards- Strong knowledge of financial concepts and procedures
