Position: Jr. Accountant
Reports to: Director of Finance
Summary: We are seeking a Junior Accountant with one to two (1-2) years of relevant experience in all functions of Accounting. This position will offer support to our Urgent Care centers in Central New Jersey, and will work with and report to our Director of Finance.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• All aspects of accounts payable, including coding, processing and check cutting
• All aspects of accounts receivable, including coding, processing and payment application
• Account and Bank reconciliations
• General Ledger and Journal Entries
• Assist in month end and year end close process
• Other duties & special projects as assigned
Requirements
Requirements for this position include:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 1-2 years relevant experience
• Ability to make decisions, problem solve and work independently
• Ability to keep organized records and good documentation skills
• Knowledge of Quick Books preferred
