Position: Medical Billing Coordinator
Reports to: Senior Practice Administrator
Summary: The Medical Billing Coordinator tracks and audits patients’ charts and corrects missing or incorrect information.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Audit and, when necessary, correct “open charts” received from our 3rd party billing partner.
• Monitor tracking sheets from 3rd party partner and contact patients for information as needed (demographic, insurance coverage, payment, etc.).
• Track and coordinate entry into EMR system of patient charts from various mobile testing sites.
• Other duties as assigned by the Senior Practice Administrator/Operations Director.
Requirements
Required Experience:
• 1 year of Intergy/Greenway electronic medical records system experience required.
• Medical billing experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills
• Detail oriented
• Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette
