*Duties*
- Provide basic patient care under the direction of healthcare providers
- Assist with patient examinations and procedures
- Administer medications as authorized
- Record patient information in electronic health records systems
- Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs and EKGs
- Coordinate patient referrals to specialists or other healthcare providers
- Maintain medical supplies and equipment
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
*Experience*
- Certification or diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Basic life support certification
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience in medical-surgical settings, urgent care, or Level I Trauma Center is a plus
-Experience with injections and blood draws
- Proficiency in medication administration and electronic health record systems
