Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level MRI Technologist to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in the medical field, particularly in diagnostic imaging and patient care. The Entry Level MRI Tech will play a crucial role in supporting healthcare professionals by ensuring accurate diagnostic evaluations and assisting with various medical imaging procedures.

The role will consist of testing the efficacy of the latest drugs for MS, Alzheimer's, and other neurological disorders. Consistency and quality are crucial. Responsibilities

• Assist in performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including but not limited to other imaging techniques.
• Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to aseptic techniques.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology.
• Document patient information accurately and assist in the diagnostic evaluation process.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in medical imaging.

Requirements

• Must be an ARRT technologist
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is preferred.
• Familiarity with diagnostic imaging techniques such as sonography is a plus.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and safety protocols within a clinical setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions meticulously.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare staff.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures in the medical field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.04 - $28.00 per hour
