Summary You will serve as a LEAD IT SPECIALIST (PLCY / PLN) in the Combat Systems and Warfighting Integration Branch of IMMEDIATE OFC OF CHIEF OF NVL OPS. Responsibilities You will serve as the Surface Warfare Cyber Defense and Information Technology (IT) Integration Lead for the entire Surface Warfare Division. You will be responsible for the formulation and execution of policies, plans, and program requirements related to developing, sustaining, and upgrading information technology capabilities on surface ships. You will serve as the Division’s primary technical advisor, knowledge manager, and lead strategist, who systematically creates, shares, manages, and applies IT knowledge You will be responsible for the identification of Surface Ship IT and cyber defense requirements, and the plan and acquisition strategy for Capability Assessment determination. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-14) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following : Applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to identify and advise on IT problems, programs, and initiatives involving cyber defense; Providing guidance in the planning and programming phases of the PPBE (Planning Programming, Budgeting and Execution); Establishing Key Performance Parameter (KPP) thresholds and objectives for cyber defense programs, systems and associated equipment; Leading teams of other expert analysis to include Integrated Process Team (IPT) and other organizations.
