RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Commodity strategy creation, company alignment, and execution.
- Identifying, evaluating, and developing suppliers.
- Developing relationships with key personnel at partner suppliers.
- Negotiating with suppliers for best total cost options.
- Initiate RFQ’s for new product or engineering VA/VE projects and award business per strategy.
- Training and developing suppliers on IMMI’s expectations for Quality and Delivery.
- Prevent IMMI manufacturing from having line-down situations.
- A bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Purchasing, Engineering, Operations or related field.
- MBA or Masters in Engineering
- 10 years of purchasing or supply chain experience.
- Must possess highly developed negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Complex data analytical skills with demonstrated results.
- Experience with Oracle ERP and Supplier Portal.
- Experience with Metal Stamping, Progressive Die Tooling, Steel Manufacturing
