JOB DESCRIPTION
The essential functions of this position while meeting or exceeding annual goals and objectives are as follows:
- Work very closely with the production team members to listen, understand and improve from their perspective. They do the job every day. Listen to them and solve their problems.
- Lead in creating an efficient environment that focuses on zero defects.
- Analyze systems and processes and implement value stream mapping.
- Facilitate and assist in the development of new streamlining strategies for efficiency.
- Identify areas needing to be maximized; inventory purchasing, manufacturing downtime, potential uses for manufacturing scrap, time management, and other opportunities for improvement.
- Develop strategies to maximize development process of new products and prototypes.
- Facilitate communication with other departments to innovate systems of efficiency and improvement.
- Appropriate degrees, certifications, and experience of Industrial Engineering, manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate the appropriate systems such as Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Projects, and any other computer software deemed necessary
- Must comply with legal and corporate responsibilities

- This work is deadline-oriented, requires multitasking, fluctuating work schedule, and flexibility within the workday.

- When in the warehouse, this position requires working with dirt/dust and noise. The use of a variety of proper PPE is required to provide a safe working environment.
- This position requires working with various temperature conditions.
- This position may require extended travel.
