LOCATION: Onsite- Westfield, IN

RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Champion IMMI’s contractual agreements by providing legal, regulatory, and business insight and strategy. This includes negotiating and driving business agreements, developing and managing these agreements, and strategically analyzing IMMI’s portfolio of customer, supplier and vendor agreements.
• Support general legal matters that include but are not limited to crisis management and company messaging, public policy analysis and strategic implementation, international matters, marketing and advertising material review, and internal training for company team members.
• Coordinate merger and acquisition activity as well other strategic partnerships (joint ventures, corporate alliances, and international divisions). This includes working with executive leaders in identification, investigation, due diligence, and transactional activities.
• Support IMMI’s risk management function by identifying and developing strategies, plans, and systems to support business growth.
• Support claims and litigation involving the company or its affiliates. This would include identifying local counsel, leading responses to all discovery, developing resolution strategies and implementing them as needed, working with insurance partners, and reporting to internal corporate stakeholders.
• Support legal operations in the following areas: corporate, commercial, governance, intellectual property, product safety and liability, recall and regulatory compliance, warranty, labor and employment, aviation, insurance, and other areas as needed.
• Represent the company to the public, industry, and government in a manner that enhances the reputation of the company and exemplifies IMMI’s Mission and Core Values.
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective decision-maker.
• Experienced in complex sales contracting.
• Excellent servant leader attitude.
• Ability to display integrity, trust, confidence, humility, maturity, and calm in high stress scenarios.
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• 3 years of relevant work experience.
• License to practice law in the State of Indiana or another jurisdiction.
• Compliance with legal and corporate responsibilities.
• Ability to travel.
