- Participates as a member of the Facilities Technician(s) team throughout the IMMI facilities while upholding current IMMI / Regulatory standards
- Creates, manages and prioritizes work orders for the IMMI Facility team
- Provides coverage after hours and weekends to fulfill maintenance needs or emergency response for building systems and grounds. This position currently rotates on-call duties every other week.
- Assists the building Facilities Technicians with the preventative maintenance schedule for building systems and grounds.
- Ensures that all building sidewalks, parking lots, and grounds are kept in a safe condition. This includes snow and ice removal scheduling with an outside contractor.
- Maintains effective and courteous communication lines with the Facilities Team and Facilities Manager, EHS Manager, Maintenance & Housekeeping Team.
- Manage and successful completion of projects for production, office, and exterior property areas.
- Manage project scheduling, and tasks start to finish, develop CAPEX project presentations
- Performs all duties in accordance with IMMI Core Values and IMMI safety policies.
- Work with vendors to create, negotiate, manage, and renew contracts.
- Research invoices and assign payment codes and forward to IMMI, APLP, UHL to process for payment and CC Facilities Manager on communication. Also submit Purchase Order requests
- Perform Hazardous and Hot work permits with contractors and IMMI team members.
- Update Project and Permitting files and folders as needed.
- Ensure that all applicable facilities related elements of the environmental management system are in place, effective, and sustained. Including but not limited to managing the Universal waste recycling and required record retention.
- Must be able to stand for 10 hours a day.
- Must be able to lift 40lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational certificate and or equivalent experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Manage Facility Tech day-to day tasks, work orders, PM’s along with personnel scheduling
- Previous specialized training in facilities management field
- Have and maintain an active driver’s license
- Ability to operate appropriate software to complete maintenance tasks
- Working knowledge in computers to operate Widows programs, Excel and capable of learning various additional software applications as required
- Knowledge of the proper operation and maintenance of cleaning equipment, the use of chemicals used in cleaning and proper hygiene and sanitation.
- Must be able to physically work within IMMI Westfield facility, on IMMI campus, and extended APLP properties and facilities
- Must comply with legal and corporate responsibilities
- Must be able to travel as the need arises, such as but not limited to training, seminars, and other IMMI site visits
