Duties

- Manage the entire volunteer lifecycle, including onboarding, training, scheduling, and ongoing support.
- Utilize platforms such as Salesforce and Raiser’s Edge for tracking volunteer engagement and managing data.
- Organize training sessions and workshops to enhance volunteers' skills and knowledge.
- Supervise volunteers during events and activities, ensuring they have the resources needed to succeed.
- Foster a positive environment that encourages volunteer retention through recognition and appreciation initiatives.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for volunteer involvement in various projects.
- Conduct public speaking engagements to promote the organization’s mission and recruit new volunteers.
Experience
- Proven experience in volunteer management or related fields is essential.
- Familiarity with campus recruitment strategies is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire volunteers.
- Experience in supervising teams or groups effectively.
- Proficiency in using Salesforce or Raiser’s Edge for data management is preferred.
- Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Background in recruiting volunteers or staff is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability in training development for volunteers or team members.
