GS-09 You qualify for the GS-09 grade level if you possess one of the following:
Experience: One year of specialized experience at the GS-07 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as:
Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL. B or J.D. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of successfully completed graduate level education and experience. Graduate level education in excess of the amount required for the next lower grade level, which is 1 year, may be used to qualify at the GS-09. This will be calculated using your resume and unofficial transcripts or a list of courses/course hours submitted with your application. (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then, divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify.) Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Responsibilities:
As a Debarment Analyst, you will perform the following duties:- Conducts basic research, analyzing and writing new administrative actions (i.e., Action Referral Memoranda; Notice Letters, Decision Memoranda, etc.) for suspensions, proposed debarments, debarments and no actions letters.
- Analyzes and gathers case material, documents from criminal matters such as Indictments, Plea Agreements, Judgment and Convictions or reports of investigation to identify whether information supporting suspension/debarment exists.
- Analyzes documents that contain personally identifiable information (PII) data and redact that information before use.
- Drafts responses regarding ICE entries in publicly available federal databases; and
- Reviews ICE data that has been entered into Federal databases, as well as electronic files, and verifies data entry into databases.
