Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Immigration Attorney with 0-2 years of experience to join our growing team. This role offers hands-on experience across multiple areas of immigration law, including employment-based visas, family-based petitions, humanitarian relief, asylum, and removal defense. The ideal candidate will be eager to develop litigation and advocacy skills while making a meaningful impact in clients' lives.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Employment-Based Immigration: Handle work visas (H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN), PERM labor certifications, and green cards (EB-1, EB-2 NIW, EB-3).
✔ Family-Based Immigration: Manage marriage-based petitions, adjustment of status, consular processing, fiancé visas, and hardship waivers (I-601, I-601A).
✔ Asylum & Humanitarian Relief: Prepare asylum applications, credible fear interviews, VAWA, U visas, and humanitarian parole requests.
✔ Removal Defense: Represent clients in immigration court for bond hearings, cancellation of removal, motions to reopen, and appeals.
✔ Legal Research & Writing: Draft legal briefs, motions, appeals, and responses to RFEs, NOIDs, and denials.
✔ Client Representation: Appear before USCIS, EOIR (immigration court), ICE, and the Board of Immigration Appeals.
✔ Case Management: Maintain case files, track deadlines, and ensure strong client communication.
✔ Stay Updated: Monitor and analyze changes in immigration law and policy to provide cutting-edge advocacy.
Qualifications
✅ J.D. degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
✅ Licensed to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction (in good standing).
✅ 0-2 years of experience in immigration law (internships, clinics, or clerkships in immigration law considered).
✅ Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
