DiRaimondo & Schroeder LLP (“D&S”), a boutique firm in Williamsburg with a dog-friendly office, is looking for an experienced Supporting Immigration Specialist (paralegal-level position) to join their growing team.
In this role, you will support paralegals and attorneys with drafting, assembling, and filing H-1B, L-1, TN, and O-1 nonimmigrant visa petitions and immigrant I-140 EB-2s and EB-3s as well as AOS applications.
Here’s important information about the role:
- Start Date: As soon as possible (with the understanding that currently employed candidates will need to give notice).
- Salary Range: $65,000 to $75,000 per year, depending upon qualifications and experience.
- Work Location/Schedule: Casual and dog-friendly office environment in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with hybrid/remote schedule.
- Benefits: Health, vision, dental, and life insurance, 401(k) with employer matching, self-managed PTO, up to 12 paid holidays and 2 flex days, summer Fridays, and firm Macbook.
- Experience/Education Required: 1 to 3 years with H-1Bs, L-1s, TNs, O-1s, EB-2s, EB-3s, and AOS, as well as a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent.
- Preference: PERM experience is a big plus. Also familiarity with Google Docs and Drive and Adobe.

More Of What You Will Do
In addition to case preparation and filing, in your day-to-day you will:
- Monitor case processing before and after filing, including the preparation of approval packages.
- Monitor and meet internal and external deadlines on assigned cases and proactively communicate case progress to supervisors.
- Ensure client records and files are kept organized and updated.
- Maintain client databases and reports with respect to approval and validity dates of visa petitions, and assist with case milestone and expiration monitoring.
In this role, you will have administrative support from office assistants who take the lead in scanning mail and performing other key admin tasks.
