Position:
ImmunEdge has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Associate Scientist to join our In Vivo Pharmacology team. This individual will be responsible for the execution and analysis of the in vivo evaluation of novel therapeutic. Strong candidates will be collaborative, enthusiastic, and passionate about drug discovery and development. Extensive technical expertise working with relevant in vivo disease models to support preclinical research is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Expected Salary Range: $108,000 – $120,000

Position:
ImmunEdge has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Associate Scientist to join our In Vivo Pharmacology team. This individual will be responsible for the execution and analysis of the in vivo evaluation of novel therapeutic. Strong candidates will be collaborative, enthusiastic, and passionate about drug discovery and development. Extensive technical expertise working with relevant in vivo disease models to support preclinical research is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preclinical efficacy experiments and PK/PD studies to support early discovery, lead optimization, and IND-enabling in vivo studies
- Independently design and perform mouse tissue collection and processing workflows, immune cell enrichment, immune cell profiling using multicolor flow cytometry and cytokine analysis using ELISA-based assays
- Perform cell culture with immortalized cell lines and tumor inoculation (subcutaneous or orthotopic) to establish vivo oncology models
- Contribute to report writing and documentation of in vivo experiments, and maintain thorough and accurate records of all experiments, including methods and results
- Minimum of B.S. in Immunology, Biology, or related field
- 8 years of industry experience with a proven track record of success
- Extensive expertise and relevant research experience using animal models of human disease
- Experience working with syngeneic mouse tumor models, including xenografts and spontaneous models
- Experience in drug administration (IP, IV, PO), tumor cell culture and inoculation, tumor measurement, and blood/tissue collection
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment
